First blood

My first Metallica ticket is from my first concert of The Four Horsemen. It was hot summer 1993 and I, along with three of my friends drove by car to a distance of 700 km of Bratislava. It was June 8, and Slovakia for eight days was an independent country (previously it was Czechoslovakia) but we are only interested in whether the concert which will be going for sure. We were driving without 100% certainty after hearing one of information on MTV Headbangers Ball (if anyone still remembers this program .... rock on Vanessa) ... in an era when the Internet yet no one heard it had to suffice. Morning in Bratislava we saw the first concert posters and we knew it was worth the drive 700 km. Crowd under Slovnaft stadium looked a little different than the type of metalheads. Sandals and terry socks, leather jackets and shorts and ofcourse mullets everywhere.

On the ticket, The Cult, Alice in Chains and Metallica – nice line-up. I admit that the concert of The Cult do not remember much, but instead of Alice in Chains Megadeth came on the scene arousing universal applause. View Mustaine in white jeans (hi Spirti hehe), an orange sweater and white wristbands I have in mind for today. The concert was dope but the crowd was waiting only for Metallica. I'll just say it was hell on earth from the first bars of "Creeping Death". For the first four songs fought for it to stand up and not be overturned. Then I withdrew a little back and be able to soak up all over each other music and atmosphere of this concert. After the concert ticket hid the "magic box" and may God bless me for not having decided to laminate the ticket as they did my buddies. The ticket is really big in shades of green with a gold inscription Metallica.

Nice gold Metallica logo .....glowing in the dark
Next day there was a concert in Budapest, where they were confusingly similar tickets - standing green and blue on the seats. I do not know if at concert in Bratislava was also a blue version of the ticket - not seen as such. The ticket is quite difficult to obtain, for last 5 years I saw him only once on eBay. A similar situation is with a ticket from the concert which was held in Brno held on 24 May 1993 - the only one that appeared in the sale was bought in January 2010 for $ 109. Good luck

500 !!!

"500". Although this is my first post on this blog is titled "500". The explanation for this is simple. I get my ticket number "500" to the collection. Collection of Metallica tickets. It took a little bit but eventually gathered into himself to write about my passion and I think now is the good time to start the adventure on this blog and share with you what turns me on. For the sake of formality I add that this jubilee ticket is a ticket from Sonisphere festival in Knebworth in 2009. Pretty big ticket (scan below). Thats all for first entry here. The next entry will be extensive and will be about ... you'll see soon.
PS.  because my English is not perfect, please be understanding.
