We have a new year 2012. Metallica has announced the first new concert dates for the current year and that means new tickets .... I hope in my collection. Meanwhile, the last day of 2011 years the postman brought another letter and in it the long awaited beautiful piece of history of Metallica. I mean ticket from a European tour promoting the album “Master of Puppets”, which took place on January 12, 1987 in Osnabrück, Germany. Responsible for promotions and ticket distribution agency Shooter & Klein (someday I will write more about them) has done a good job. The ticket is quite large with a reproduction of the cover album “Master of Puppets”. The same tickets were printed on a tour of Germany in autumn 1986, which had to be postponed due to the death of bassist Cliff Burton. What particularly pleased me was that the ticket is in perfect condition, like new, still with a control coupon, which due to the fact that it is already 25 years that makes me even happier.
Minty despite 25 years
In the picture below the "three brothers" of the same Tour but not in such good shape. Still to come are the other two tickets from “winter” tour in Germany - from a concert that took place in Nürnberg and Hamburg (first show). As for ticket prices on this route, it all depends on the ticket. From my observation is that the prices range from $ 19 (November 2011) for a ticket from Boblingen to $ 45 (April 2011) for a ticket from Nürnberg. Much more expensive tickets from German concerts in this tour are the tickets of the concerts held in Ludwigshafen ($ 67 April 2009) and Munich.
